We came to Nicaragua with the Intension to help as many children as we
could and to treat people that could afford to pay a small price for my services
to sustain us as we pursued goals and the hope of what our Foundation is
about. We were cut short of our dreams to help. Although my private practice
was growing monthly, there were a number of reasons, and it is very sad ...
Hope is still in the air and in our Hearts to do what we set out to do. I will be
back in Nicaragua to finish what we have started...
Our first night in Managua was filled with two wonderful people doing their
part to help the children. One mans name was Erik, he is a flute maker from
Florida. Very inspiring man, with a great Heart and great talent.
We Arrived in Granada Nicaragua, where we met more wonderful people and
learned a great deal of the culture and how the people lived..I found a great
problem with the language barrier. I COULD NOT SPEAK SPANISH !!! Big
down fall !!! I learned a little Spanish while I was there yet not fast enough to
for fill what I needed. Melanie did very, very well. Indigo, our son was a big hit
every one just loved him, and he was always cute , flirting and funny. We would
be walking in town and hear a voice ring out INDIGO, Melanie and I did not
recognize them but they new Indigo. What a boy he is...
